OKI Data Americas Introduces Live Chat Services

By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributor

OKI (News - Alert) Data Americas is supplementing its customer support offerings by announcing the addition of a live online chat feature accessible through the company’s website.

Highlighting OKI’s commitment to providing timely technical assistance to its customers, trained support technicians will staff the new live chat services on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.

The new chat feature is delivered with minimal wait times and can be accessed via a designated tab on the right side of each page of www.okidata.com.

OKI already provides live 24 hour, year-round customer support service, and developed the new offering to address the changing needs of its customers and ensure they can contact the OKI support team in an easy manner.

“The live chat feature provides our customers with an additional way to gain access to our skilled support team,” said Michael Boudreau, senior manager of Customer Support for OKI Data Americas. “Technical issues can be solved swiftly and conveniently. We are there to help our customers trouble-shoot via whatever channel they prefer, taking OKI’s commitment to customer service one step further.”

Headquartered in Mount Laurel, NJ, and a subsidiary of OKI Data Corporation of Japan, OKI Data Americas markets PC peripheral equipment and customized document management solutions under the OKI brand.

OKI also provides a toll-free support hotline at 1-800-OKIDATA, and an email service via support@okidata.com to support its broad portfolio of printers and its customers throughout the United States and Canada.

OKI Data Americas is participating in a road show that began on February 6, 2012 and takes place over four weeks with events in 13 cities across North America. The company will be demonstrating its Managed Print Services (MPS) solution at each of the events.
