Datamart Enables Secure Communication Via LifeSize

Datamart and LifeSize (News - Alert) Connections have teamed on delivering a simple cloud-based platform to business of all sizes in New England.
Datamart will offer LifeSize Connections to customers and this solution will help them utilize HD video conferencing and collaboration.
According to a release, LifeSize Connections and the full suite of LifeSize solutions can be immediately ordered from Datamart.
LifeSize Connections is offered by LifeSize, a division of Logitech (News - Alert). LifeSize delivers the telepresence experience from the desktop to the conference room with up to full HD 1080p video.
LifeSize systems are designed to provide HD video communications under 1Mbps.

This announcement seems to be well-timed, as Polycom recently announced 2012 as the year of visual communications and mobile video.
Stefan Karapetkov (News - Alert), who heads up the Emerging Technologies division at Polycom, pointed out in a conversation with TMC CEO Rich Tehrani that business-to-business visual communications will be commonplace by the end of this year.
